Tempo is a work and planning app for freelancers, operated by Kravitz Media. Questions: gomeh.kravitz@gmail.com.

The content you create: tasks, calendar events, habits, goals, workouts, meals, clients, jobs, payments and budget entries — plus your account email.

There are two copies. One stays in your browser on each device you use. The other is saved to our database (Supabase) against your account, so your work follows you between devices. This applies on every plan, including Free. If you connect Google, a refresh token is also held server-side so Tempo can keep syncing without asking you to sign in again.

Connecting Google is optional, and the calendar and mail are connected separately. Connecting the calendar asks for two scopes:

calendar.events — read your events, and create or update the ones you make in Tempo.
calendar.calendarlist.readonly — list which calendars the account has, so you can pick one.

Only if you also connect mail, from Tempo's Mail screen, does it ask for two more:

gmail.readonly — read your messages in Tempo's Mail screen.
gmail.send — send a reply that you wrote and approved.

Tempo deliberately does not request gmail.modify or full mail access, so it cannot delete your mail or change your mail settings. Messages are fetched when you open the Mail screen and are not stored in our database.

You can disconnect at any time in Settings, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Tempo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The assistant runs on Google's Gemini API. It only sends anything when you actually use it.

When you send it a message, Tempo includes enough of your current data for it to answer: your open task titles and priorities, roughly the next week of calendar events, your habits, and your client names, job titles, prices and payment status. In the Mail screen, asking the assistant about a message also sends that message's text.

You can put your own Gemini API key in Settings, in which case your requests go out under your key. Otherwise Tempo's server key is used. Tempo does not train any model on your content; Google's own handling of API requests is governed by the Gemini API terms.

Chasing a payment opens WhatsApp with a message already drafted, containing the client's name, the job and the amount. Tempo hands that text to WhatsApp — nothing is sent until you press send there yourself.

Supabase (database and authentication), Google (Calendar and Gmail APIs when connected, and the Gemini API when you use the assistant), and Vercel (hosting). Tempo does not sell your data, and does not share it with anyone beyond the services needed to run these features.

No ads, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no advertising profiles.

Settings has an export that writes everything Tempo holds for you to a single JSON file. Email us and we delete your account and everything attached to it. Disconnecting Google stops calendar and mail access immediately.
